Program Resources

Below are program documents and guides to assist with your planning and preparation for the State Conference. These various documents are online in our YAG Google Drive.

Program Documents

  • Google Drive for YAG Resources
  • Legislative Resources: This folder includes the program guide, the parliamentary procedures worksheet, leadership guide, etc.
  • Advisor Resources: This folder includes an Advisor Guide, with important information about adult roles within YAG. There is also a Program and Delegation Guide, which includes helpful tips on how to structure a delegation, ideas for meetings, and more.

Curriculum Content

  • Legislative Curriculum
  • This 6-part curriculum contains lesson plans and resources to guide students through the process of understanding the democratic system, writing a piece of legislation, and preparing for debate. Lessons are lecture-limited, adaptable to the needs of the delegation environment, and embrace the project based, student forward style of the program.

Financial Assistance

  • Financial Assistance Application
  • The registration fee for the 2025-2026 Kansas State Conference is $50 per student. This covers lunch during the event, merch they’ll receive at the conference, and the entry fee for the event. However, if students face financial barriers to attend the state conference, we encourage them to fill out the Financial Assistance Application concurrently with registration, due October 6th.

Advisor Training

  • Advisor Training Sign-Up
  • If you’re new to YAG programming or could use a refresher, the advisor training gives you all the information you need to get started from the people directing the state conference. Use the RSVP link above to sign-up, and a Zoom link will be sent to your email to join.
  • Dates for the advisor trainings include:

August 25, 2025 @6:00pm
September 9, 2025 @6:00pm
